Minami Kaigan Karate UK

Minami Kaigan Karate was established in 1991 under the name North Dorset Karate. Chief Instructor, Chris Lewis has over 35 years experience in Karate, and also trained in Judo from an early age. Chris is a 6th Dan black belt, he holds an enhanced DBS Certificate, First aid qualified and is fully insured. We have two clubs based in Dorset, One of the clubs is in Blandford, the other in Poole. Both clubs have students of all ages from 6 years old to 60 years young. We also have a good mix of Males and Females, with grades ranging from white belt to 4th Dan black belts.

We currently train on Wednesday evenings in Poole and Thursday evenings in Blandford. We also hold a number of courses throughout the year. We try to attend several competitions, and we hold regular local gradings.
